Arsenal are Premier League champions. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ†

After 22 years of waiting, Mikel Arteta's side have finally ended their title drought โ€” and they did it without even kicking a ball on Tuesday night.

Manchester City's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth handed the Gunners the title with a game to spare. Eli Junior Kroupi's stunning curling effort gave Bournemouth the lead in the 39th minute, and despite Erling Haaland's late equaliser in stoppage time, the damage was done. City remain four points behind Arsenal with only one game left to play, making it mathematically impossible for them to catch up.

Party is in North London

Arteta gathered his squad to watch the decisive fixture at the club's Colney training ground. Arsenal will now lift the trophy when they travel to Selhurst Park on Sunday โ€” and they will do so with one eye on an even bigger prize. The Gunners face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final the day before their scheduled trophy parade through North London on 31 May.

The title is the reward for years of patience, belief and relentless hard work. Arteta transformed a club that was drifting and turned them into champions. This time, there was no denying them.

Arteta's finest hour โ€” but can it get even better?

And the celebrations may not stop there. Arsenal travel to Budapest's Puskรกs Arena on 30 May for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. Kick-off is at 18:00 UTC. Win that, and Arteta will have delivered the Double in the same season โ€” and cemented his place among the greatest managers in Arsenal's history.
