A record-breaking night at the Allianz Arena turned into a full-blown demolition, as Harry Kane's 100th Bundesliga goal and a Michael Olise hat-trick powered Bayern München to a merciless 7-0 victory over Union Berlin.
Kane reaches century in record time
The evening's defining moment arrived six minutes before half-time. After Tom Rothe fouled Michael Olise, Harry Kane stepped up and buried a low penalty into the bottom-left corner. It was his 100th Bundesliga goal in just his 98th appearance, making him the fastest player in league history to reach the milestone.
By then, Jamal Musiala had already opened the scoring with a 17-meter strike into the far corner from the edge of the area, assisted by Alphonso Davies. The midfielder's early opener set the tone for a night where Bayern's attacking depth simply overwhelmed their visitors.
Olise runs riot with second-half hat-trick
Olise, who had curled Bayern's third goal into the corner just before the break, took complete control after the interval. He headed in Kane's fourth from an Olise cross in the 54th minute, then turned provider to create the platform for his own personal milestone.
Ismael Saibari made it five in the 70th minute, finishing from an Alphonso Davies pass to score his first career Bundesliga goal following his summer transfer from PSV Eindhoven. Three minutes later, Olise ran onto a Tom Bischof ball over the defense and slotted into an open net, before completing his hat-trick with a swerving shot into the top-right corner in the 76th minute.
Union collapse under relentless pressure
Bayern ended the match with 68 percent possession, 23 total shots and 15 on target. Union Berlin managed just three attempts all evening, two of which tested the goalkeeper, while picking up three yellow cards to Bayern's one. The visitors' defensive shape dissolved once the third goal went in, and the second half became a procession.
For Union, the defeat leaves them 16th in the table with a single point from four matches. Bayern, now on 10 points, sit top of the Bundesliga and have scored seven goals across their season while conceding only two. This was a statement of intent, not merely a result.
