Qualification for the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 is complete, with Fenerbahçe, AEK Athens, Viking and Slovan Bratislava taking the last four places in the 36-club league phase. Viking’s success carries a sharper consequence: Dinamo Zagreb are out, leaving Croatia without a representative again.

Fenerbahçe, AEK, Viking and Slovan complete the field

Fenerbahçe won 2–1 at Lyon after a 1–1 first meeting, while AEK Athens swept past Levski Sofia 4–0 after the opening 0–0. Slovan Bratislava then beat Celje 2–1 after extra time, following a 1–1 first leg, to complete the final quartet.

Viking ends Dinamo Zagreb’s Croatian hope

Viking beat Dinamo 3–1 after their 2–2 opening draw. The Norwegian club have secured a historic place in the league phase, while Dinamo’s elimination means Croatia will again have no club in the competition.

LASK, Bodø/Glimt and Sabah join the 36 clubs

Earlier results had already sent LASK, Bodø/Glimt and Sabah through. LASK responded to Celtic’s 3–0 win with a 5–1 victory, Bodø/Glimt followed their 3–1 result at NEC Nijmegen with a 3–0 home win, and Sabah beat Hapoel Beer Sheva 5–2 after losing 2–1.
